John Dauvergne Gregor, an early Adelaide fan, sometimes used the pseudonym "John Devern." Under this name in 1939, he published for the Adelaide SFL the one-shot Science Fiction Review, a hektographed fanzine, which was the first duplicated fanzine published in Australia.
