Irene Korshak (née Odenheimer) was banquet chairman for Chicon II, the 1952 Worldcon. She might not have attended much of the con, though, as she gave birth to her son, Stephen, on June 1.
Irene worked at Shasta Publishers with her husband, Mel Korshak, and participated in programming at cons as a company representative. They married in Manhattan in 1950.
