The 2020 Worldcon, CoNZealand, was held July 29 - August 2, 2020, as an online event. It was to have been in Wellington, New Zealand, but because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the committee made the bold step in late March to hold a web-based convention, a first for any large convention, let alone a Worldcon.

The New Zealand in 2020 bid was selected at Worldcon 76 in San Jose in an uncontested race (see 2020 Worldcon Site Selection) and CoNZealand conducted the site selection for the 2022 Worldcon.
