Peter Graham

Peter “Pete” Graham joined the Golden Gate Futurians and the Little Men about 1952 before moving to New York in 1960 (where he was a member of the Fanoclasts) and gafiating around 1969. He was a high school friend of Terry Carr's. His first con was Westercon 3. He helped to produce the Incompleat Burbee. He was a member of The Cult.

He achieved early notoriety, which he went on to overcome, in 1952 by perpetrating the Willis Death Hoax at the age of 13.

He is credited with coining the phrase "the golden age of science fiction is 13" (which was later changed to 12.)

He had a black cat named for Carl Brandon; when it died, he got another and named it Josh Brandon.
