The Second London Minicon was a one-day convention due to be held on November 23, 1968 in a small hall at the base of William Dunbar House in West Kilburn, London, the building where Ella Parker had a flat. It was organised by the Science Fiction Club of London (SFCoL) and specifically Ethel Lindsay, Ella Parker and Keith Otter. James White was to be guest of honour. However the convention was cancelled due to lack of interest.

London Newsletter #9 (May 1968) said that 'Plans for another Minicon in London in November are going ahead'. #10 (June 1968) carried news of the dissolution of the SFCoL following an extraordinary meeting on May 12, 1968. However, it also included a 'reminder' that the London Minicon was now an annual event and the second would take place on November 23, 1968. The guest of honour would be James White and admission was £1 including lunch and tea or 15/- (fifteen shillings) without lunch, tickets to be ordered from Otter.

BSFA Bulletin #18 (July 1968) carried much the same information and #19 (September 1968) reported rumours of a planned Knights of St. Fantony initiation ceremony.

However, Locus #15 (December 19, 1968) reported that 'The London minicon was cancelled because of lack of interest.'
