The BSFA Bulletin was one of the clubzines of the BSFA. It was launched in 1965 with editor Archie Mercer explaining in its first issue:

The Bulletin is not a revival of the Newsletter, though. The Newsletter's purpose in life was to fill the gaps between Vectors, gaps that are nowadays filled by additional issues of Vector itself. The purpose of the Bulletin is to supplement the new, professionally-printed Vector by providing up-to-the-minute news of the Association itself and its members, leaving Vector to concentrate on the wider aspects of the sf field. Therefore, instead of coming in between issues of Vector the Bulletin will be mailed out with each issue of the more formal publication.

The final issue of the Bulletin, #47 (May 1972), announced that the title was to be discontinued with the material it would have featured being incorporated into Vector. In 1975 the BSFA Newsletter was resurrected for a second series and after six issues the title was changed to Matrix
