(???? –)

David Griffin was a UK fan from London active in the 1970s. Graham Charnock described him in Stop Breaking Down #4 (March 1977):

The best words to describe David Griffin are 'charming' and 'nice'. He appears incorrupt but by virtue of his tender years and unlike Andrew Stephenson, possibly not incorruptible. There seems to be a slight potential for decadence in him, although he gives the impression of being one who will go about it in his own sweet way in his own sweet time.

Griffin was a member of OMPA and was elected treasurer in 1977. However, he resigned later that year or in early 1978 as reported in an Off Trails Special Issue which said, 'Dave is going gafia which is a great pity. Under great difficulties he has served as Treasurer and brought in valuable members for OMPA with his enthusiasm.
