J. Long was a UK fan from London active in the 1950s. He was a member of the London SF Con of 1952 where he is reportedly pictured with many other London Circle fans at the auction. The photo is listed in the Science Fantasy News Loncon supplement, along with others that could all be purchased from Charles Duncombe for 3/- (three shillings) each but as of 2024 a copy hasn't been located.
