"Apathy" redirects here so far; for most common of Fannish Ailments, see burnout and disillusion.
For the 1980s New York APA, see all-caps APATHY.

APAthy: being a COMPLETE INDEX of the FIRST FIVE YEARS OF THE OFF-TRAILS MAGAZINE PUBLISHERS’ ASSOCIATION was a one-shot apazine of 40 numbered pages with the index to OMPA mailings 1-20, prepared and published in September 1959 by Joy Clarke for mailing 21.

  1. Contents. Notes and Abbreviations. [page] 2
  2. Brief History of the first five years of OMPA by A. Vin¢ Clarke 3
  3. Magazines published - alphabetical order 5
  4. Holders of Office: Founder Members - with unbroken membership, with renewed membership, awaiting renewal. 23
  5. Members of OMPA during the first five years, arranged in order of membership number under the system initiated by John Roles 24
  6. Magazines published - under Members’ names. 25
  7. Members in alphabetical order, with the mailings during which they were members, membership number ns at Mig, 20, number of items submitted. 33
  8. Complete Mailing Index, with postmailings incorporated with the mailings to which they belong. 35

The title was styled APATHY on the cover, with the "APA" thrice larger than the rest; it was not repeated anywhere inside in normal typescript, but APAthy seems to be the intended capitalization, as used for example by British Fanzine Bibliography. That also adds there were two two-page "Addenda", one already in mailing 21 attached to the main body and the other in March 1960 mailing 23. These aren't available online yet.
