Tim Illingworth is a British con-running fan now living in Tennessee. Introduced to fandom through the Cambridge University SF Society, he chaired Contrivance and Helicon, (the 1989 and 1993 Eastercons) and Smofcon 10. He chaired the successful UK in '95 Worldcon bid and co-chaired the resulting convention, Intersection, before resigning. He has been on the committee of numerous other conventions in both the UK and the U.S. He has been a member of the MPC and many British fans remember the quizzes he used to run at conventions.
He is married to Marcia Illingworth.
