Located at 151 East Wacker Drive in downtown Chicago, this massive hotel has hosted two Windycons and five Chicago Worldcons (1982–2022).
The hotel, built in 1974, was expanded in 1980 and renovated in 2012. It has two towers (“It's in the other tower!”) with 36 stories, over 2,000 sleeping rooms, plus several levels of function space and an exhibition hall (together totaling 240,000 square feet), allowing it to accommodate a Worldcon, in both sleeping rooms and function space, in one enclosed environment.
