Norwescon IX was held March 20-23, 1986 at the Red Lion Inn in SeaTac, WA. The GoH was Anne McCaffrey, the Artist GoH was Kelly Freas, the Fan GoH was Greg Bennett, and James Oberg]] was [[Science GoH.
It was chaired by Robert Suryam, the toastmaster was Spider Robinson and attendance was very high, with estimates around 3000.
