A fanzine published by G. M. Carr.
Published by The Nameless Ones, A club in Seattle, Washington, as their "official literary publication", Sinisterra was the club's first fanzine; but it appeared under this title for only 8 issues. After the mid-1950s, Cry of the Nameless became the club's main publication, winning the 1960 Best Fanzine Hugo.
An interesting feature of Sinisterra was the inclusion of photographs on the covers and/or interior pages.
A detailed, retrospective review of the Autumn, 1950 (Volume 1, Number 3) issue by Jon D. Swartz was published in Scientifiction: The First Fandom Report (New Series, Number 1, 1st Quarter, 2004).
