STF-ETTE
Revision as of 01:41, 24 September 2024 by Mark Plummer (talk | contribs) (Add details of The Feminine Fan)
STF-ETTE was a fanzine published by Pogo (Mary Corinne Gray) of Los Angeles. Only women were supposed to contribute to STF-ETTE and Sam Moskowitz believed it to be the "first feminist fanzine." The Feminine Fan had been announced by the 'girls' of the Queens SFL in October 1939 and was said to be going to press in February 1940. If it was ever produced then it likely predates STF-ETTE but it's not listed in the Evans-Pavlat Fanzine Index and so may never have appeared.
