Andrew Brown, a Melbourne, Australia, fan, was co-editor of the Melbourne Fanewsletter, which he renamed Thyme. He played the role of a (tall) zombie in the bidding film, The Anti-Fan Strikes Back. He was a member of HOCUS POCUS.

In the 1970s, he was active in U.S. fandom. He was 6'10", and used to wear a t-shirt reading “I absolutely hate basketball.”

He gafiated in the 80s, turning to punk rock.
