In 1953, Philadelphia's Bellevue-Stratford Hotel was a fine, upscale hotel which hosted Philcon II, that year's Worldcon. But it's more famous in the mundane world, for being the site of the first recognized outbreak of Legionnaires' Disease in 1976.
