HAL-CON is a science fiction and fantasy convention held in Tokyo, Japan, which was started in 2010 by staff members of the Nippon 2007 Worldcon. The Guests of Honor each year are a non-Japanese writer who is published also in Japan, plus their Japanese cover artist.
