Eastercon 18, Briscon, was held in Bristol, UK over Easter 1967. The GoH was John Brunner, the committee was Tony Walsh, Simone Walsh, Archie Mercer, Tony Mercer, Graham Boak, and Brian Hampton. It was the last Eastercon to call itself explicitly the 'BSFA convention'.
Moshe Feder, upon hearing the convention's name, is reported to have said, "They called it *what*!?"
