Archon 25 was a convention held July 13–15, 2001, at the Collinsville Gateway Center & Holiday Inn in Collinsville, IL. The GoHs were Robert Jordan, David Cherry, Steve Jackson, Byron Connell, Tom Smith, Jack "BoJay" Stauffer, Genie Yaffe. Amy Verseman, David Verseman. The toastmaster was George R. R. Martin, the Masquerade MC was Victor Milan. Attendance was around 2,200 and it was chaired by Michelle Zellich. There was a "Special Appearance" by Virginia Hey and in an overabundance of cuteness, the Animal GoH was two tiger cubs from SafariPark.
