Barbara VanTilburg, a Chicago fan and huckster, was a partner with her husband, Ray VanTilburg, in OffWorlds Designs, a major supplied of fannish-logoed souvenirs and t-shirts. They retired in 2021, after 31 years in business.
In February 2017, VanTilburg was elected to the ISFiC Board to fill the seat vacated by Kathleen Meyer's death. She served on the board until the expiration of her term in November 2019.
