Luis Ortiz is the publisher of Nonstop Press, a New York City-based small press publishing books on SF, art, pop culture. He is the author of many books about SF. Of particular interest to Fancyclopedia 3 are:
- Arts Unknown: The Life & Art of Lee Brown Coye
- Cult Magazines: From A to Z
- Emshwiller: Infinity x Two: The Life & Art of Ed & Carol Emshwiller (2007), which was nominated for the 2008 Best Related Book Hugo and the Locus Award
