Andrew Brown, a Melbourne, Australia, fan, was co-editor of the Melbourne Fanewsletter, which he renamed Thyme.

In the 1970s, he was active in U.S. fandom. He was 6'10", and used to wear a t-shirt reading “I hate basketball.”
