Yvonne Rousseau, an Australian fan, was a member of the Science Fiction Collective who edited the second series of Australian Science Fiction Review, to which she produced an exhaustive index. She was Fan GoH at ConFictionary in 1991.

She was perhaps best known for commentary on Joan Lindsay's novel Picnic at Hanging Rock in her tongue-in-cheek The Murders at Hanging Rock (1980); when the long suppressed final chapter of Picnic was published as The Secret of Hanging Rock (1987), she contributed a new essay to this booklet. Another solo book is her critical study of Cherry Wilder, Minmers Marooned and Planet of the Marsupials: The Science Fiction Novels of Cherry Wilder (1997).

She was married to John Foyster, her second husband, and lived in Melbourne and Adelaide.

She died of Parkinson’s Disease after two months in hospital.
