FenCon VI was a convention held from September 18-20, 2009 at the Crowne Plaza North Dallas in Addison, TX. The Guests of Honor were Lois McMaster Bujold, Carla Ulbrich (music), Warren Buff (fan), and Kurt Miller (artist).

It was chaired by Russ Miller, the theme "Sci-Fi DIY", attendance was 854, and the toastmaster was Paul Cornell (who was sponsored by ORAC) and Howard Waldrop was a special guest.

Hosted the Region Three Summit, a gathering of Star Trek fans from Texas and Louisiana.
