Equicon '75 was a Star Trek/Media convention held May 24–25, 1975, at the at the El Cortex Hotel in San Diego, CA. GoH was Matt Jeffries and Fan GoH was Forrest J Ackerman. Other guests included Gene Roddenberry, Majel Barrett, Theodore Sturgeon, D. C. Fontana, Poul and Karen Anderson, Larry Niven, Greg Bear, George Clayton Johnson, Katherine Kurtz, George Pal, John Landis, Walter Koenig, George Takei, James Doohan, Nichelle Nichols, Robert H. Justman, Arlene Martel, William Campbell, Ed Bishop, William Ware Theiss, Fred Phillips, June Foray, and Robby the Robot. There was a Masquerade hosted by David Gerrold. It was chaired by Jean Peacock and Jamie Hanrahan, with assistance from Bjo and John Trimble.
