The first DUFF race was South, to send a North American fan to Australia or New Zealand. The candidates were Lesleigh Luttrell, Rob Coulson & Juanita Coulson, and Andy Porter.
Lesleigh Luttrell won and attended: Syncon 2, the Australian Natcon in Sydney.
