Eastercon 24, OMPAcon '73, (which was also called OMPAcon 2) was held over Easter (April 20-23), 1973 in Bristol, UK. The GoH was Samuel R. Delany.
The committee was Gerald Bishop, Ken Cheslin, Mike Meara, Pat Meara, Fred Hemmings, Terry Jeeves, Brian Robinson.
This convention was named because it was bid for and run by OMPA members who comprised the committee; as usual for the UK national convention, all fans were welcome. Publications included OPMAgress and OMPAcon 73. OMPA declined in the years following, and some believe that the effort expended on the convention was to blame.
