Jim Marshall was a UK fan from Gateshead in County Durham active in the 1950s and 1960s He was a sometime editor of Gestalt, the clubzine of the North-East SF Society. He was a member of the Cytricon in 1955 and attended Cytricon II in 1956.
He is listed in Ron Bennett's Directory of Science Fiction Fandom for 1955–1957, drops out, and then reappears in the 1966 edition, the year he attended the Yarcon although that was also the year that Ron Bennett in Skyrack #92 (September 1966) was wondering what had happened to him.
Confusingly, there is also a Jim Marshall from nearby Sunderland who was active in the 1970s. This is seemingly a completely different and unrelated person.
