A parody by Carl Brandon of J.D. Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye. It has Holden Caufield getting kicked out of FAPA rather than an exclusive boarding school, living in a slan shack instead of a dormitory, interacting with other fans rather than school mates and faculty, etc. It originally appeared in Innuendo, issues #3-6. It was collected and published in 1982 by Jeanne Gomoll with an introduction and historical notes by Terry Carr.
