Disclave 18 was held Memorial Day weekend (May 24-27), 1974 at the Sheraton Park Hotel in Washington, DC. Chairman Alexis Gilliland decided that we could do a Disclave just a few days before the Worldcon. He invited Kelly Freas to be GoH and had 284 fen in attendance.
Alexis would run the next four Disclaves.
