LASFAPA is the second APA associated with LASFS (different from APA-L). It was founded in 1976 by Harry Andruschak, and has had a very stable membership, with many founding members still participating. As of January 2022, it had had 544 monthly distributions without missing a month and it was still active in 2024 with David Schlosser as OE.

Its Official Organ is Wurlitzer.
