(May 6, 1921 – February 15, 1985)

Robert G. Thompson (aka Thomas G. Robertson) was an early NY fan whose photo appears in Sam Moskowitz's The Immortal Storm (Hyperion Press, 1974).

He was a member of the Flushing SFL, tried to create the Temponautical Society, was part of United Publications (later Taurasi-Thompson Publications) and attended the Second Eastern States Science Fiction Convention, the 1938 Philadelphia Conference and Denvention. He founded the Temponautical Society.

He gafiated, probably during the War.

His dates are "speculative," based on the fact he was the only Robert G. Thompson born in Queens in the late 1910s and early 1920s. His official records are sometimes intermixed with "Robert B. Thompson," also born in Queens on May 6, 1921 and died in Florida on February 15, 1985.
