Minicon 7 was a convention April 20-22, 1973 at the Hyatt Lodge in Minneapolis. Guests of Honor: Larry Niven and Rusty Hevelin.
Blue Petal and Louie Spooner were co-chairmen. Attendance was 220. the motto was "The Mpls in '73 Con!"
MINICON 7 PROGRAM Friday, April 20
- NOON -- Registration opens (Lincolnwood), Set up for book dealers & art show (Regency West)
- 6:30 -- Opening remarks and introduction of notables
- 7:00 -- Forbidden Planet : SF Movie starring Walter Pidgeon, Anne Francis, & Leslie Nielsen. Color; 98 Minutes.
- 8:45 -- ASTRAL PROJECTION : A panel discussion on the problems of being both fan and pro.
- 9:45 -- (time approximate) Party suite opens
