Zita Gillis (née Birute Zita Kutkus) is a longtime Ann Arbor, MI, fan. Her first convention was ConFusion 13 in 1975, which she videotaped with her then boyfriend, Larry Tucker, and she subsequently joined the local club, the Stilyagi Air Corps. She co-chaired ConFusion 14 in 1977.
Zita is part of the Illuminatus Lasers lightshow team with her husband, Wayne Gillis (m. May 1, 1982), and Mike Gould. Their shows have featured at many ConFusions and other conventions.
A native of Detroit, she graduated from the University of Michigan in 1975. She is a retired business systems analyst and has a business making cocktail jewelry called Zitatini.
