(???? – )
William Gooding was a UK fan from Leicester active in the 1940s. He was a member of the British Fantasy Society and was hailed in British Fantasy Society Bulletin #18 (September 1944) as member number 100, earning him a 'yippee' from editor D. R. Smith. Gooding was reportedly 'won over to the cause' by Roy Johnson. Perhaps editor Smith's enthusiastic greeting created too much pressure for Gooding as he does not seem to have otherwise troubled the fannish record.
He is not listed in the Directory of Anglo-Fandom of 1945.
