Walter I. “Brad” Bradbury was science fiction editor at Doubleday in the 1950s. He suggested the Lucky Starr juveniles to Isaac Asimov and told Ray Bradbury (no relation) to make a fix-up out of his short stories, resulting in The Martian Chronicles. He was a member of the Hydra Club.
