The Reading SF Club was formed in 1974 by Keith Freeman and Chris Fowler. They met on the first day of the month at Reading University and featured formal SF readings and discussions (Then, page 305). Members were credited with collating and mailing issues of the BSFA's Vector in the mid-1970s.
