Philcon 1997 was held November 14-16, 1997 at the Adams Mark Hotel in Philadelphia, PA. The GoHs were Dan Simmons, Alan M. Clark, Gardner Dozois, Nancy Kress, Clam Chowder. The con's subtitle was "The New Dark Age".
