(???? – )

Peter White was a fan from Epsom, Surrey active in the 1960s. He attended Repetercon, the 1964 Eastercon, where according to Jim Linwood in Relapse #17 (Spring 1010) he, Charles Platt and Chris Priest seemed inseparable buddies and became briefly known as the 'Gang of Three'[1]. White also attended Brumcon II in 1965 and Charles Platt, writing in Maya #14 (June 1977) about an earlier column by Peter Weston, wondered if 'Pete remembers his remark to Peter White at that convention, "Your head's a nicer shape than mine, mate," 'displaying uncharacteristic drunken clarity of perception? Probably not.' White was a member of Group 65.

White contributed to Beyond #5 (April 1964) with both fiction and an article about J. G. Ballard and to #8 (April 1965) with an article on Brian Aldiss. He also contributed articles or letters to Les Spinge and Vector. Two essays appeared in New Worlds, on Aldiss again in #154 (September 1965) and the Collected Works, Volume One by Antonin Artaud in #187 (February 1969).

Linwood also said that according to a now seemingly inaccessible website, White described himself as 'a "Polymath & Idiot Savant", a retired aircraft captain and unemployed race driver living in Dorking. He flew with British Airways and Korean Air Lines.'
