A Boston-area fan in the 1960s. He was a member of BoSFS, NESFA (of which he was a founding member), and the Boston in '67 bid committee and chaired Boskone 4 and Boskone 5. He was a Fellow of NESFA. His twin brother was Ed Galvin.
