(1940 --)
An American fan who was a member of The Cult. He was introduced to fandom by rich brown when they served together at Tyndall AFB in Florida (Norm Metcalf was also there at the time). A threatened co-edited project, "How Now Brown-McQuown Fanzine", seems never to have been published, possibly because brown and McQuown fell out within a few months.
He attended the Chicon in 1962, where he annoyed Walt Willis and Robert Bloch by joining them uninvited for dinner, and was still active as of 1969, when he was letterhacking Cry of the Nameless from Staten Island, NY.
