Memo Sheet

Memo Sheet was the clubzine newsletter of first the Paint Research Station Science Fiction Library of Teddington in south-west London and then from March 1943 its successor organisation, the Cosmos Club .

The British Fanzine Bibliography described it as 'Carbon-copied' so print runs were presumably small and there is little further information available beyond the known existence of a #12 from April 1943, the first issue in duplicated form. In May 1943 it evolved into Cosmic Cuts so #12 is the final issue.

That final issue reported on the March 16, 1943, meeting of the Cosmos Club. The financial position was revealed to be sound with 14/- cash and stocks of paper etc to the value of 20/-. After an 'animated discussion', they decided to stick with the name Cosmos Club, abbreviated as CSC. Peter Hawkins was welcomed as a visitor from the British Fantasy Society.
