(October 11, 1940 – October 13, 1958)
Clayton Kent Moomaw, described by Fancyclopedia 2 as a “promising younger fan,” was a teenaged fan living in Cincinnati in the 1950s. He was somewhat of a recluse and didn't associate with the CFG, although he attended Midwestcon.
His suicide at age 18, just as he would have had to register for the draft, was one of those that made 1958 the “Year of the Jackpot.”
He was a member of The Cult and active in fanzines.
