John Greenfield

John Greenfield was a UK fan from Gainsborough active in the 1940s. He was a subscriber to Futurian War Digest.

In October 1942 Derek Gardiner visited several fans and tried to meet up with Greenfield without success. This comes somewhere near the bottom of a list of great fannish anecdotes. In fact, Greenfield seems to have been somewhat elusive as he was also not among the attendees at the Whitcon of 1948, although Norm Ashfield noted him as one of those absent but sending greetings.

He is listed in the Directory of Anglo-Fandom for 1945 although marked 'not in touch at the present moment'.
