Jesse Floyd was a fan from Savannah, Georgia active in the 1950s. In Quandry #30 (November 1953), Lee Hoffman described him as 'a fairly recent arrival in the Fandomain who spends his time between issues of prozines, sailing about the sea for money. By chance his ship happened into England in time for the Loncon', by which she meant the convention more usually referred to as the Coroncon in London in 1953.

In his report of that convention he noted that Hoffman had given him details of the White Horse, then home to the Thursday night meetings of London fandom. He attended a meeting there on May 21, 1953, and only then learned that the convention would happening in two days time.

In 1955 he hosted Ken and Pam Bulmer on Ken's Taff trip and was a participant in the November 1955 issue of The Chattahoochee, Okefenokee, & Ogeechee Occasional Gazette along with the Bulmers, Lee Hoffman and Charles Wells.
