Jack Bowman was a fan from Prestwich near Manchester, UK active in the 1950s. He was a member of the Nor'west Science Fantasy Club (NSFC), joining in March 1953.
Note: there was also a fifties fan artist called Joe Bowman who did contribute to the NSFC's Space Times. It's unknown if they were related or even the same person. Neither is listed in Ron Bennett's Directory of Science Fiction Fandom for 1955.
