Fanzine of the Melbourne Science Fiction Club

The name was chosen by its first editor, Michael Wauchope.

Issue 116 had a cover by Dave Sim. Other cover artists have included: Ian Gunn, Carol Kewley, Richard Mordern, Jon Swabey.

Ethel the Aardvark won the Ditmar Award for Best (Australian) Fanzine twice: 1990 and 1994.
