ConChord 1

ConChord 1 was a filk convention held March 11–13, 1983, at Griswold's Inn in Fullerton, CA. It was also known as FilkCon 5.1. The GoHs were Bob Passovoy & Anne Passovoy. It was chaired by Eric Gerds and there were "at least" 124 attending. There were two small function rooms used for the dealers. One room was for Off Centaur Publications and the other was for DAG and Tobbie Crowe.

The main function room was occupied by Avon ladies, who over stayed their time. The committee had to get the hotel to chase them out. The ConChord Songbook was From the Cockpit.
