DeepSouthCon 36, aka B'hamacon 4, was a convention held June 12–14, 1998, in Birmingham, AL. Attendance was 340 and it was chaired by Julie Wall and Gary Rowan. Michael Bishop was GoH, David & Lori Deitrick were Artist GoHs, Buck & Juanita Coulson were Fan GoHs.
Wilson "Bob" Tucker was Toastmaster. Tom Feller and Wilson "Bob" Tucker won the Rebel Award and David Weber won the Phoenix Award. The Rubble Award went to Gary Robe "Because He Can't Stop Us and/or For Inventing the Rubble."
