Alec Dicpetris
(June 13, 1933 – February 29, 2004)
Aleksandras Napoleonas Dičpetris was an American-born UK fan from Bradford active in the 1950s. He attended the NECON in 1951 and was a member of the Bradford Science Fiction Association.
Mal Ashworth, writing in Hyphen #20 (February 1958) recalled him as 'a Lithuanian would-be World Citizen with an American accent.'
While Dičpetris lived in America in earlier and later life there's no evidence that he was fannishly active there. Not strictly relevant to Fancyclopedia, his sister, Rasa, who styled her surname Didzpetris, married Ray Davis of The Kinks in 1964 and recorded with them as a backup vocalist.
It is just possible that this entry should be for Aleksandras Dičpetris (Wikipedia). It's hard to say definitively whether the person pictured at NECON is 18 or 45, but the former seems more likely, especially when compared with the picture of Aleksandras senior on the Wikipedia page.
